The people behind MYL

Meet our team.

MYL Canada is shaped by young people who plan, listen, organize and show up for their communities. A new team took up the work in October 2026, with one long-term aim: to raise the next generation of leaders who will carry MYL forward on their own.

What guides us

Four commitments, lived together.

A strong youth community needs intellectual depth, spiritual life, genuine friendship and useful action.

01

Grounded learning

Classical Islamic knowledge engaged with the questions young people actually face.

02

Noble character

Faith measured not only by what we know, but by how we carry ourselves and treat others.

03

Belonging

Spaces where young Muslims can be honest, supported and connected across backgrounds.

04

Service

Compassion translated into practical work for neighbours, communities and humanitarian causes.

Love · Peace · Knowledge

Confident in faith.
Constructive in society.

MYL Canada’s public mission joins spiritual and moral development with leadership, service, Canadian belonging and respect across communities.
