New Year’s Eve Dhikr & Hadra Night

Instead of the countdown, a night of remembrance to welcome the new year with purpose.

Where: Mississauga Muslim Community Centre

As the city counted down to 2025, MYL Canada gathered at the Mississauga Muslim Community Centre to welcome the new year differently: with remembrance of Allah.

The evening brought recitation with translation, Arabic nasheeds, an inspiring talk by Shaykh Dr. Abdullah al-Qadri, and a moving dhikr and hadra session before the closing du’a. People left with renewed peace and purpose. This night is the root of Nur al-Hadara, MYL’s New Year’s Eve halaqa.
